Mcivor again sought

TVOR McIVOR; star Camberwell utility man, last

night again asked for a clearance to Brunswick as captain and coach.

No decision was made, how-ever, and delegates from Bruns-wick and Camberwell will dis-cuss the position and decide to-day. Mcivor might be cleared on certain terms.

Ron Hines, ciever Carlton wingman, has been cleared to Preston, and will play on Satur-day.

Preston was seriously hit by injuries on Monday. Pascoe (fractured ankle) and Lehmann (broken collarbone) will be out for about eight weeks.

Port Melbourne will ask South Melbourne to clear Jack Mul-lane, wing and rover. Bob Kel-sey, who transferred to Carlton

in 1947, trained with Port, and will ask for a clearance back, Promising young forward, Bot Milgate, who kicked 11 goals for Camberwell seconds against Oakleigh, is sure of a place in the senior team on Saturday, Northcote will probably make changes for Saturday. Searle, Tullock, and Cary are expected to soon make the senior list.

T. Ryan, Oakleigh (injure. shoulder), will be fit. J. Kell. was last night cleared to Mi Gambier as coach.

Only light training was done at Brighton. Foster (leg) re-ceived ray treatment and ml be fit. Mclndoe will play hi first game for the season.
