400 Horsemen

DAVID MACDONALD, who

has been on location in South

Africa filming the background to Dia-mond City, a J. Arthur Rank story of the diamond boom days, had to find 400 horsemen in a hurry. He got the help he needed from the South African Mounted Police. This

much travelled director is living up to his nickname of the "Flying Scots-man." He has flown thousands of

miles from the studio during the last

l8 months. Studio scenes of the

diamond city story will be shot at

Denham this month.
