Australian Film Star Party in Divorce Suit

Mrs Wilma Pierce, wife of William A. Pierce, Hollywood film writer, has obtained a divorce in the Los Angeles Court after testifying that she found her husband in the early hours of July l8 last year in the apartment of the Australian film actress Constance Worth.

Mrs Pierce said she, a woman de-tective, and two policemen entered the apartment and found Miss Worth entirely disrobed in the bed-room, and Pierce wearing only a bathrobe. Miss Worth and Pierce, she said, had been associating for

over two years.

Miss Worth gave evidence that though she and Pierce were close friends there was nothing illicit in their relationship. Pierce, unwit-tingly, had too much to drink the -night before, and decided to spend the night on the apartment couch, while she used the bedroom.

Pierce denied undue intimacy with Miss Worth. He claimed that the woman detective gained entry to the apartment by representing that her car had locked bumpers with Pierce's

car.-AAP.
