KALINGA WORRY TOOMBUL,

Kalinga turned out one of their best teams against Toombul last Saturday. They set themselves the task of holding the Hubbard, Radford, and Boucaut trio at all costs and very nearly succeeded. Although they were successful in counter-acting the moves of Hubbard and Bou-caut, Radford was the thorn in their side. Kalinga had Toombul worried up to half-time, when they led 4-3, but Toom-bul triumphed In the last half of the gnmc to win 0-5 by exploiting those fierce attacking methods for which they are famous. Radford (4 goals), Forsaythc (2), and the Lenton brothers (3) were the best players.

Norman park arc fast Improving In team work. Their well-bulnnced side was too much for Clayfield, who were defeated 11-3. Harold Evans did great work on Clayflcld's defence' line, and his team was far from being disgraced.
