Carandotta Station Sold.

Information has been received from Sydney that Carandotta station in the Cloncurry district has been bought by Mr. H. C. Taylor of Bellevue Hill, Syd-ney, on behalf of a company, to be known as Carandotta Pastoral Co., Ltd. The Carandotta holding is 900 square miles in area, and carries 50,000 sheep, 400 cattle, and 200 horses. Mr. Tay-lor is a Queensland pastoralist, the owner of Katandra in the Cloncurry district, as well as some smaller pro-perties in this State and New South Wales. Carandotta holding is sub-divided into 51 paddocks, and has 43 wells. The area was previously held by the trustees of the late Mr. T. A. Stirton.
