DEATHS. BLOOM.—On the 10th August, at Toowoomba, Leopold Solomon, fifth dearly beloved son of Charlotte and H. S. Bloom, of Murphy's Creek, also beloved brother of Mrs. J. Rosenberg, Wooloowin, aged 20 years and 10 months. Deeply regretted. BUTCHER.—On the 15th August, at her late resi-dence, Maryvale, Lytton-road, Mary Josephine, beloved wife of Captain J. E. Butcher, aged 49 years. (Requiescat in pace.) DAVIS.—On the 11th August, at his residence, Neutral Bay, Sydney, Charles Davis, Solicitor, father of Mrs. Allan Alexander, Mrs. Wm. Dun-can, and Harold Consett Davis, of Queensland. FRASER.—On the 12th August, at Kilkivan, Ann Caroline, beloved daughter of William and Flora, Fraser, after a short and painful illness. GARLAND.—On the 8th August, at Wooloowin, Catherine, beloved mother of Jane, Ellen, Frederick, and Edward Garland, formerly of Roma, aged 71 years. MATTINSON.—On the 13th August, at Brisbane, John William Mattinson, of Toowoomba, eldest son of the late Captain William Mattinson, of Adelaide, aged 62 years. PITTS.—On the 9th July ultimo, at " Yaamba," Elm-road, Mortlake, Surrey, England, Maria Sarah Pitts, aged 92 years, Aunt of Mrs. Mac-donald-Paterson (" Pyrmont") and Mrs. Andrew Peterson (" Summer Hill"), Brisbane. PLUMRIDGE.—On the 10th August, at the Bunda-berg Hospital, Mary, beloved wife of John Plumridge, of Mount Perry, aged 62 years. Deeply regretted. ROSS.—On the 6th August, at Redcliffe, No. 6 Banana, John Hay Mackenzie Ross (late of Cracow), aged 68 years. TOMLINSON.—On the 10th August, at St. Helen's Private Hospital, South Brisbane, A. R. E. Tomlinson, well-borer, late of Roma, aged 39 years.
