SATURDAY'S FIXTURES.

Tho following are the fixtures for Sotur

dav next:

Brisbane City v. Wynnum, Woolloon-gabba, 1.55 p.m.

Norman Park v. Thistle, Woolloongabba, 3.15 p.m.

Bundamba v. Bush Rats, Dinmore. Blackstone v. Latrobe, Blackstone.

SECOND DIVISION. Toombul v. Wilston. Kedron v. Bulimba.

Ipswich Railways v. St. Helens. Milton v. Merton Rovers.

(On grounds of first named.)

Patrons of the game at Ipswich will be well catered for next Saturday, when Bun-damba and Bush Rats clash at Dinmore, and Latrobe travel to Blackstone. Should Bundamba go under to Rats, and Latrobe come out on top, the premiership com-petition will become much more Interest-ing, as the leaders, Bundamba, will then be only one point ahead of Latrobe. The leaders have yet to meet Latrobe at Wool-loongabba; thus the premiership :s by no

moans certain.

The babes of the first division, Brisbane Citv and Wynnum, meet In the early gpmc at Woolloongabba, noxt Saturday. A good tussle is expected, as the result will have a lorge bearing on tho relegutlon of teams at thfe close of tho present leason. In on endeavour to collect the points. Wynnum will field several more experienced m-iverp amongst the new blood, Tomalty, M'Millan, and Teddy Owen having been signed t.p. These old players should give the jceessary confidence to the Wynnum team, and Taylor, Doxloy. and company, will find them a much harder proposition than on the last occasion.

The second fixture will bring together two old rivals in Thistle and Norman Park. Tho Intense rivalry between these clubs Is well known, and this, added to the fact that tho some type of football is played by each, thus providing a stirring game of real football, should draw a capa-city house.

Norman Park are keen to avengo the two-one' defeat received In the last en-counter and will 'Include the ex-Sydney player. Rennick, In tho defence. Thistle's sting should bo increased by the Inclusion of Johnny Steele in the forward line, with tho uncanny Pcrotte again between tho sticks for them. Perotte returned to the pâme after on enforced absence last Satur-day, being mainly responsible for the close gamo with Bundamba on that day. Though having no bearing on tho premiership this game Is being looked forward to by those who prefer tho close passing typ? of pl:iy well known to the English football fan, and one which is always Interesting to

watch.
