Owing to the Cncket Ground not being availalbe, the Charity Cup semi finals be-tween the senior Soccer clubs took place on the prettily situated ground at Too-wong. The main attraction was between the Premiers, Pineapple Rovers and the Tristram Shield winners, Latrobes. The other game was between Thistles and

Dinmore Wanderers.

It wis not long before Litiobes again took the load and it was a lotclj eifort. Steele and Stet enson completely beat the defence, and finally Steele put in a gland oblique drtte from 20 janis range, the ball entering the net well out of

Hamilton's reach.

Just before half-hme the Latrobes' forwards, who wera combining brilliant-ly, once more swept down the field, and delightful combination between Steele, Craig, and Proud ended in the latter sconng Latrobes' third goal.

HARRIS GIVES ANOTHER

PENALTY.

Just before the finish Proud was going tluough, when Harris fouled bim in th« penalty area. The whistle promptly went< and Steele scored his third goal.
