A ROMA-STREET TRAGEDY.

The magisterial inquiry into the death of Ferdinand Christian Borell, who was found shot in the shop of his foster father, Richard Ramo, in Roma-street, on No-vember 28 last, was continued in the Inquiry Court yesterday before Mr. J. Burrows, J.P. Acting Sergeant Warner conducted the inquiry.

Mr. G. Webb watched the case in the interest of Ramo; Mr. P. Murphy (in-structed by Messrs. Llayd, Price, and Murphy) for Mrs. Ranch; and Mr. Moyni-han (instructed by Mr. J. Crawford) for the deceased's relatives.

Constable Stevens, stationed at Roma-street, said that on November 28 he was called to the shop of Ramo in company with Constable Moran. In a back room they found deceased lying on his stomach on the floor. Witness lifted the body and found what looked like a bullet wound between the right eye and ear. Witness was of the opinion that deceased com-mitted suicide.

Martha Ann Borell, sister of the de-ceased, and Winifred Eni Ranch, also gave evidence, and the inquiry was adjourned until February, 7.
