OFFICIALS REPORTED.

At a meeting of the executive of the Q.F.A., on Monday, a letter was received from the Bush Rats F.C. stating that they decline to take part,in any future matches, and 'have no desire to challenge the winners of the final of the Challenge Cup. They take this action, they say, on account of the treatment they have re-ceived from the Q.F.A. and" the Referees' Union this seasvon. They also st-ated that none of their players will be eligible for reptesontative games.

The executive accepted the decision, and the contents of tho letter were not«d.

The action of the Bush Rats will not come as much of a surprise to Soccer en-thusiasts, for it ¡<" well known that they have for some time threatened to with-draw from the competition. They allege that no matter what suggestions were made by them to the association they never got any real consideration.

At the same meeting of the executive, Referee C. Ljst reported that in the Bundamba Rangers-Bush Rats match he had to order on» of the Bush Raw off the Sold for a'busive language. It was decided that the player und referee should appear before the executive on Monday

next.

Referee A. P. Jackson reported having to order a Brisbane City'player from the field for fighting in the Brisbane City

v. Thistle match.

The player and referee are to appear also on Monday next.

The same referee ateo reported five

meníbens of the City team for abuse and ungenclenianly conduct on the field and in the dressing-room. ,

The five ntemlbers in question,' are to ap-pear on Monday next.

A resolution was carried to the effect that J. Potts, secretary of the Bush Rats P.C., and Ballam, a meniber of the Bris-bane City P.C. be disallowed admission to the Brisbane Cricket Ground, sine die; further, that, 0. Potts be asked to shaw cause why he should not- be suspended from his club for his ungenüemaiily con-duct to the Q-K.A. officials..

OTHER EXECUTIVE BUSINESS..

In connection -sith the Lake's Creek and Baralaba fixtures, the secretary was instructed to advise Lake's Creek that the executive concur with the action of the Central Queensland "Executive in awarding the match to Baralaba.

Referee J. Duncan reported that; in the Natives v. Caledonians match he hail to order a player of each team from the field for fighting.

-The 'players in question, the referee, and the captains of each side are to ap-pear before the executive on Monday

next.

A letter was received from the Y.M.C.A., «"fering their gymnasium to the Q.P.A. as training quarters for the Chinese team, and placing the Y.M.C.A. as the Chinese team's headquarters while they are in Brisbane. It wasj decided to accept the offer with thanks.

A letter was received from Dinmore Wanderers P.C. appealing against a fine. The executive decided, on the evidence, that the fine must stand.

The president (Mr. H. Ashworth) was requested that, if possible, he go to Bun-daberg on Saturday next to view the Pineapple Rovers r. (Bundaberg match.

The Referees' Union is to be asked to submit the refeTees appointed for the Chinese matches- two weeks before the first match.

It was decided to play a match in aid of the South Brisbane War Memorial on September 22, and it was moved as o suggestion to the (Memorial Committee that in event of any( surplus that, instead of erecting , statues, etc.. as suggested, all mone-ys accrued . should be disbursed amongst the diggers' families.

_ Chinese tour.-It waa decided that the first match should be Queensland v. China, on September 8, and the second on the 15th, Australia v. China.

The final of the Challenge Cup will be played on 'Saturday. .September 1, at the (Brisbane Cricket Ground.
