BETTER FARMING TRAIN.

The director of Agriculture (Dr. Cameron) yesterday received the following telegram from Mr. Mullaney, the Railways officer on the Better Farming Train:

"A late decision to visit Kyabram, in confiequince of the splitting of the train, caused some confusion as to when; sections were to be sent. The morning attendance at both (dated was disappointing, but in the afternoon 700 saw the stock and dairy section at Tongala, and 400 visited the train at Kyabram. At Kyabram the fruit car was of particular interest, and the lecture on the subject was attentively followed. AU lecturers report keenness. The women's section remained at Tongala, and demonstrations were attended by very large audiences. At Echuca; last evening the cars were crowded."
