Great interest is being taken in the opening of the Soccer football season tomono««-, and a large erotvd is expected to journey to the Brisbane Cricket Ground, where two senior matches will be played. REFEREES FOR TO-MORROW.

A meeting of the- Queensland Association Football Referees' Union was held on Tues-day, Air. Ross presiding over a very largo number of members. The union has de-cided to ask the Q.F.A. and the Junior Association to circularise clubs asking them to pay strict attention to Lo,««- Vi, this action being due to the fnct that some of the boots ut present on the market do uot meet the requirements laid down hy the law.
