Ladies' Football Association Formed.

At a meeting held in the Brisbane Gymnasium last evening, Mr. R. Powell presiding, it was decided to form a Queens-land Ladies' Soccer Football Association. About 100 ladies were present. Mr. R. Powell pointed out that he had recently formed the Latrobe Ladies' Football Club, which had 14 playing members. New South Wales had formed a Ladies' Soccer Football Association, and Toowoomba had two clubs. The meeting decided to form "elevens" from the Otter Ladies' Swim-ming Club, and the A.N.A. Basket Ball Clubs of Coorparoo and Ithaca and Bris- bane and South Brisbane A motion was carried in favour of playing a curtain-raiser before the Charity Cup final at the end of next month.
