TOOWOOMBA, May 24.

This afternoon William Johnson, an ex-aminer in the railway department, Too-woomba, had the first finger of the right hand jammed in the Westinghouse brake on a carriage. The finger was badly crushed, and, it is understood, will have to be amputated.
