been most successful in eveiy vviy for the association. Last year there had been five senior clubs affiliated with the association, und this year tho number lind been increased to seven senior and nine junior clubs. It gave hliit great pleasure to bo on official of such an associa-tion, which was, without doubt, the strongest association which had existed for some consid-erable time. ' -The executive committee, who have assisted me," Mr. Riddell continued, " have cxllibltod commendable disdretion, and have dealt with players to the satisfaction of every one. and this has tended bo tooth ipurify the game and further develop it.
