BRITISH ASSOCIATION GAME.

MILTON V. DINMORE.

The British Association football season of 1907 was opened on Saturday

afternoon under most favourable aus-pices at Gregory Park, when the Milton and Dinmore (Ipswich) teams tried conclusions in a scratch match. There was a large crowd of enthusiasts present, who had no cause for regret at

the exposition of the game provided. It

was noted with satisfaction that the

Milton Club used goal nets for perhaps the first time in Brisbane. The teams were as follows :—

Milton.—Goal, R. Anderson; Full backs, W. Brinston and H. Addison; halves, T. Smith, J. McCarthv, and F.

Perry; forwards, G Hoskins, G. Harkins , W. Magill, F. Monte, and A. Thurlow.

Dinmore—Goal, G. Humphrey; full backs, A. Tedman and A. Jordan; halves H. Brittin, H. Randorph, J. Smith; for-wards, G. Burns, J. Jordan, R. Jeffrey, M. randorph, and W. Thompson. Re-feree, Mr. F. S. Taylor.

A good game resulted Dinmore 4, Mil-ton 1. The winners played by far the better game and thoroughly deserved their

success.
