dence, Juliette-street, Baynes' Paddock Estate, the wife of Eric N. Hausmann, of a son.

HODGKINSON.—On the 16th of July, at her re-

sidence, Boundary-street, West End, the wife of William Oswald Hodgkinson—a son.

PATTERSON.—On the 23rd of June, at Moran,

Assam, the wife of Dr. Robert Lloyd-Patter-son, of a son. Mother and child both very

well.

PARKINSON.—On the 18th of July, at "Lucile,"

Mrs. Frank Parkinson—a daughter.

PRESTON.—On the 23rd of July, at " Wyobie,"

Eagle Junction, the wife of W. A. Preston—a

son.

SHEPHERD.—On the 11th of July, at Rainbow-

street, Sandgate, the wife of Walter Shepherd— a daughter.

MARSHALL—STEEDMAN.—On the 19th of July,

at All Saints Church, by the Rev. Douglas Price, William McLean Marshall, of Pleystowe, Mackay, to Eleanor Kate, second daughter of the late W. Steedman, formerly of Pleystowe, Mackay.

DEATHS.

GRAY.—On the 30th of March, at Chibulo, on

the East Coast, Africa, J. R. Gray, aged 43, native of Queensland. (Friends wishing particu-lars regarding same, write to Otto Schuartz, Chibulo Gaza, Portuguese East Africa.)

GREGORY.—On the 25th June, at his residence.

Rainworth, Rosalie, Sir Augustus Charles Gregory, K.C.M.G., aged 85 years.

MORRIS.—On the 26th of July, Fanny, the

beloved wife of Henry Morris, of Maryborough, formerly of Kennedy-terrace, Brisbane. In-terred at the Toowong Cemetery.

PRIMROSE.—On the 21st of July, at the Brisbane

Hospital, Reginald Burton Rosebery, son of Sergeant Henry Primrose, Police Station, Been-

leigh, aged 17 years and 8 months.
