BUSH RATS V. ROYALS.

Those teams met on Saturday in the final match of the Q.B.F.A Senior Com- petition on the Reliance ground at Din-more, before a large number of specta-tors The following were the respective

The second halt was a repetition of tho first, there being nothing nuten to choouc between either team. Big kicking at times by both teams spoiled good chances. -'Rats had slightly the better of It, and Royals' goalkeeper was called upon to save often. In about twentyfive minutes' play perhaps tho only mis-take made foy Royals' back gave the Rats an opening, which they were not slow In taking advantage of, and Tcdman scored with a good shot-Rats, I ; Royals, nil. Royals still pressed, and a couple of cor-ners resulted, but 'Rats cleared on both occasions. Good play by Rats' forwards made things look bad for Royals, whoso goalkeeper only Just cleared. From this out Royals tried hard to equalise, but their shooting was bad, and fiats again had them in trouble, and the whistle weat with the ball In Royals' goal! Rats winning by 1 to nil. This win entitles them to hold the cup. Mr. J Logan gave every satisfaction as referee.
