SON, ioho will arrive luith her father, Professor Leslie Wilkinson, in the-Mooltan to-morrow, has been studying architecture in France, Switzer-land, and Italy. Professor Wil-kinson attended housing, town planning and architectural con ferences in Zurich and Laus-anne, and studied housing schemes being carried out in

England.

MRS. FREDDIE 'PIESSE, of

Perth, who has been staying at the Queen's Club, and is now at Tusculum, Potts Point, will

return to Western Australia by the Mooltan on February 15. She has had many reunions in Syd-ney with friends, among them Lady Newnes and Miss Frankie Wilson, both formerly of Perth, and Mrs. Peter Craig, of New-

port.

MRS. GALFRY GATACRE has returned to her home at Flinders Naval Base after visiting her family in Sydney.

of Vaucluse, who has been visiting Melbourne for nearly three months, returned to Sydney

this week.

THE High Commissioner for

the U.K. in Australia, Mr. E. J. Williams, and Mrs. Williams have returned to Canberra after making their first official visit to Sydney since their recent return from London. They will return for a few days on February 25.

FORMER New Zealanders,

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Guest

and their daughter, Miss Lotus Guest, entertained at a farewell party at their home, for Mr. Terry Hammond during the week. Mr. Hammond is the 21-year-old skipper of the New Zea-land sloop, Ghost, which left Syd-ney yesterday in the Tasman Yacht Race. While in Sydney, Ghost was moored outside Mr. and Mrs. Guest's waterfront house, "Olola," at Pittwater.
