Aides-de-Camp To The Queen
CANBERRA, Tuesday. - Two Permanent Air Force officers and one R.A.A.F. Reserve officer have been appointed aidesde-camp to the Queen, the Minister tor Air, Mr. W. McMahon, announced to-day.
The permanent officers are Air Commodore W. L. Hely and Group Captain C. T. Hannah. The Reserve officer is Wing Commander Rollo Kingsford-smith.
An appointment as aide-de-camp usually lasts for three
years.
If the Queen visited Aus-tralia, the three officers would be seconded for full-time duty as aides-de-camp during-the Royal tour, said Mr. Mc
Mahon.
