LONDON, Aug. 23 (A.A.P.).-Gordon Rich-ards on Windy City to-day won the Gimcrack Stakes run over six furlongs at York. Rae Johnstone on Pharaos was second, five lengths behind, and S. Clayton on Dumbarnie third, thiee lengths be-

hind Pharaos.

Helling was 5-4 favouiite, o-l, and 100-7.

Australian jockeys won three of the six races at the York meeting. Rae Johnstone won the first race for Marcel Boussac on Esquilla at 10-1 and was also successful in the second race, winning on the same owner's Pardal at 100-tO.

Edgar Britt took the last race on Rising Flame at 7-1._
