MR. and MRS. PETER LESLIE ORME WILSON leaving

St. Mary's Church, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, after their marriage yesterday. The bride was formerly Miss Isobel Ferrier, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ferrier, of Surat; the bridegroom is the son of a former Governor of Queensland, Sir Leslie Wilson and Lady Wilson, who will return to England in

the Orontes tomorrow.

LIEUT.-GENERAL F. H.

BERRYMAN, with Mrs. Berryman and his personal assistant, Captain B. Trenerry, will leave Sydney this morning for Mudgee, where Lieut.-General Berryman will open the Mudgee Show on Saturday afternoon, after attending a civic welcome in the morning. They will return to Sydney on Monday.

Princess Margaret—who is C.-in-C. of the Cadet Division of St. John Ambulance—was presented to the Gladesville Cadet Division at a ceremony at the Paddington Town Hall last night. The division won the talent quest in 1949 sponsored by the Divisional Officer Cadets, Mrs. J. E. Hansom, Mrs. E. C. Goff, and Miss Margaret Hurd.
