FIVE DOCTORS IN CILENTO FAMILY

There will be five doctors in the Cilento family in two years' time when the second son, Carl, has finished at the University, as the eldest son, Dr. Raphael Cil-ento, has taken over his mother's practice in Brisbane, and the second daughter, Ruth, is in sixth

year.

Lady Cilento's mother, Mrs. A. L. McGlew, of Mosman, said this when speaking to members of the South Australian Women's Association at their meeting at History House yesterday, when she deputised for her daughter who had been detained in Bris-bane owing to the illness of her youngest son, David.

Lady Cilento s two other daughters, Miss Margaret Cilento, who is studying art in America, and Miss Diane Cilento, who has been accepted by the Ameri-can Academy of Dramatic Art and Ballet in New York, both hope to continue their studies in Europe later. David Cilento is attending the Brisbane Church of England Grammar School.

The status of domestic workers in Brisbane had been raised by a training course Lady Cilento founded before the war, Mrs. McGlew said.

Lady Cilento, who will rejoin her husband, Sir Raphael Cilento, in America shortly, hopes to re-turn to Australia with Sir Raphael in about three years' time to make their home here.
