Board Urges

Trial Of

New R.L. Rule

FROM TOM GOODMAN

BORDEAUX, Jan. 25. -The newly-formed inter-national Rugby League Board has recommended

that England, France, Aus-tralia, and New Zealand try out the proposed new

throw-in rule.

The Board was established here in the absence of Australian representation. The Board for-mally decided that the English League be the governing body regarding the rules, pending the Board's development.

The Board will meet again in England when the Kangaroos and the French team tour this year.
