TO BE MARRIED

TO-DAY.

A Caravan Honeymoon

Unusual wedding plans have been made by Miss Gwenyth Meredith, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mere-dith, of Coogee, for her marriage to-day with Mr. Ainsworth Harrison, of Sydney. .

She and her parents and fiance will leave early this morning in a caravan, and will drive to Kangaroo Valley, where Mr. Harri-son lived in his childhood with his two aunts, Misses J. Nugent and J. Williams.

The marriage will take place quietly at the Church of England in the valley at about 12 o'clock, and a small family luncheon at the home of the bridegroom's aunts will follow.

Both bride and bridegroom will be un-attended. The bride will wear a frock of primrose lace sheer, and her wide black pic-ture hat will be trimmed with bows of prim-

rose velvet ribbon.

Mrs. Meredith has chosen a black sheer frock with matching accessories, and she will add turquoise dress clips and bracelets.

After the ceremony, the bride and bride-groom will continue their tour in the cara- (There is a photo inserted here with the below caption:-

After her marriage Miss Meredith will continue to fill her present position as manager and owner of the Chelsea Book

ANTIQUE PEARL BROOCH.

An antique pearl brooch which was worn by her grandmother on her wedding day will be worn on her frock to-night by Miss Beryl Collins for her marriage to Mr. Leslie Fox, at the chapel of the sydney Church of Eng-land Grammar School, North Sydney.

Miss Collins Is the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallis Collins, of Singleton, and the bridegroom is the eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. H. E. Fox, of Roseville. A number of country visitors have motored to Sydney for the wedding.

The bride will be given away by her father, and with her magnolia taffetta frock made with a pleated skirt and bustle effect at the back, she will wear a tulle veil held in place with a topknot of gardenias. Her sister, Miss Pamela Collins, who will wear magnolia organdi with a natural leghorn hat. will be the only bridesmaid. Mr. Douglas Fox (brother of the bridegroom) will be best man. A recep-tion will be held at Potty's Hotel. A black sheer frock will be worn by Mrs. Fox, and Mrs. Collins has chosen a penny-tan sheer frock, with a large black hat.

ALL-WHITE SCHEME.

An all-white wedding has been planned by Miss Lorna Scott Kemmis, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Scott Kemmis, of Neutral Bay, whose marriage with Mr, W, Leith Charge, younger son of Mr. W. T. Charge, of Clifton Gardens, and of the late Mrs. Charge, will take place to-night at the chapel of the Sydney Church of England Grammar

School.

A frock of chalk-white cloque, cut on tailored lines, and bordered with kilted tulle round the neck and hemline, lins been chosen by the bride, and the bridesmaids, Misses Joyce Kemmis, sister of the bride, and Evelyn Stokell, will wear bouffant frocks of white orgair.za. The bride's cut tulle veil will be held in place with a top-knot of gardenias, and her bouquet will also be of gardenias, the bridesmaids will have top-knots and bouquets

of white shasta daisies.

The bride's grandfather, Canon W. H. Kemmis, will officiate at the ceremony, and a reception at the bride's home will follow. The bride's mother, who will receive the guests, will wear mauve orchids with her frock of oatmeal flat crepe.

After a honeymoon which will be spent touring the South Coast, Mr. and Mrs. Charge will live at Clifton Gardens.

Palm Beach Dance.
