ESSIE ACKLAND.
Already there is such a big demand for seats for Essie Ackland's opening concert, that the
Australian Broadcasting Commission announces
that the locale of the first concert will
be the Town Hall, instead of the Conservatorlum as previously advertised, next Saturday. On her arrival at Fremantle last week. Miss Ackland re-ceived numerous requests to sing numbers requiring organ accompaniments, and arrangements have now been made to lnclude among the supple-mentary Items, several songs with organ. Miss Ackland's asooclate-artlsts will be Ernest Llewellyn, solo violinist, and Raymond Lambert, solo pianist.
