"PETER PAN,"

Barrie Fantasy Revived.

At the Savoy Theatre on Saturday after-noon, Miss Doris Fitton's Independent Players presented a welcome revival of Sir James Barrie's fantasy, "Peter Pan." Ever popular, "Peter Pan" delighted Saturday's audience, and the cast, headed by Anne Gordon in the title role, gave an excellent interpretation.

Miss Gordon captured the spirit of eternal youth and well deserved the enthusiastic re-ception that was accorded her. Wendy and John were played admirably by Marguerite Cullen-Ward and. Meg Smith, while Pamela Linton was an attractive Michael. Gertrude Johns was Nana; Jane Conolly, Mrs. Darling; and Alfred Race, Mr. Darling. Others in the lenthy cast who contributed to the general success were Marie Carrie, Jean Elwing, Lorna McKeand, Joan Solomon, Mavis Riley, Mary Carr, Patricia Kleim, Donald McKiven, Edward Samuel, William Hume, Don Hill, Peter Finch, Stanley Hildebrandt, Grenville Spencer, Roystone Sebastian, N. K. Mason, Winnie Campbell, Douglas Irvine, and the

Braves.

"Peter Pan" will be repeated for a series of Saturday matinees, and there will be a special matinee on Boxing Day.
