STRONG VICTORIAN TEAM.

The Victorian baseball team which will arrive to morrow morning to play games against New South Wales at Petersham Oval on Saturday and Monday Is a strong one particularly in the bat ting and fielding departments With the excep tlon of four the members will be seen here for the first time Those who played for Victoria in last year s Interstate triangular series In Sydney (Carr Quin and Junor) will be remembered for their brilliance particularly Carr and Junor while D Cann m represented Melbourne University In the lnst inter university series here Carr was the pitcher who held New South Wales in check and nnd Quin ns catcher cn that memorable occasion These two again comprise the battery and the side has L Cheong as the reserve pitcher He will be making his first appearance In a State side Junor will take his old position at short
