CAIRO, May 7.
After a further victory, in which two Italianmade mountain guns were captured, Iraq forces are steadily advancing from Hodeida towards Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, where a grim battle is expected.
Another Saudi army, under Emir Ahmed El Showcir, Is harassing the Yemenis, and has captured a caravan of camels conveying am-munition. The Saudi Arabs have also taken prisoner two Italian gunnery Instructors.
Although the British Minister (Sir Andrew Ryan) has asked Ibn Saud how far his ad-vance will extend, it is not expected that either Britain or Italy will intervene.
