AUSTRALIAN FILM.

"Diggers in Blighty."

Mr. Pat Hanna, who took the leading part in the Austialian comedy film, "Diggers," has completed a second talking film, entitled,

"niirLrers in Blitrhty."

When Mr P. W. Thring went to London & few months ago to show to exhibitors there the films produced at his Eiltee studios In Melbourne, he leased his studios to Mr. Hanna, who formed a company of his own to under-take the pioduction of a sequel to "Diggers," one of the first and one of the most successful of the films produced at Mr. Thring s studios This system of hiring a studio and its techni-cal staff is one which is often followed by independent producers in the United States

Mote than 600 players took part in the mak-ing of "Diggers in Blighty" The leadlas roles are taken by Pat Hanna, George Moon, Alficd Trith, Field Fisher, Prudence IrUng, Thelma Scott, and others. The film waa directed by Mr. Hanna, in association with Mr. Raymond Longfoid.
