Honours for War Services.

Amongst those on whom the Order of the British Empire has been bestowed for war services are the following:

KNIGHT COMMANDERS. (K.B.E.)

Professor Sir WILLIAM HENRY BRAGG, formerly professor at the Adelaide University, and now Quain professor of physics in the University of London, who in 1915 received, in conjunction with his son, the Nobel prize for work on X-rays and crystals.

Colonel BARRACLOUGH, who acted as superintendent of Australian munition workers in Great Britain.

Sir GORDON HUNTLY CAMPBELL, formerly of New South Wales, who was chairman during the war of the collection committee of the British Red Cross.

Lady DENMAN, wife of Lord Denman, who was Governor-General of Australia from 1911 to 1914.

Lieutenant LANCELOT DE MOLE, for-merly of South Australia, for his services in connection with the invention of tanks.

Mr. RICHARD LOVE, Australian repre-sentative of the British Wheat Commis-sion.

Mr. ARTHUR JOHN MILLS, produce imported to the Ministry of Food.

Mr. HAMILTON WICKES, formerly British Trade Commissioner in Australia.

Mr. W. T. MASSEY, war correspondent for the London "Daily Telegraph."

Mr. WARNER ALLEN, war correspon-dent in France.

Mr. GEORGE H. PERRIS, war corre-spondent of the "Daily Chronicle."

Mr. EDMUND CANDLER, who was the "official eye-witness" in Mesopotamia.

COLONEL REAY (formerly of Mel-bourne), who was at the head of the spe-cial police in London during the war.

Mr. LOUIS TRACY, the novelist, who was on the headquarters staff of the British War Mission to the United States, and later in charge of the British Bureau of Information.

Mr. PHILIP HENRY KERR, editor of the "Round Table" has been made a Com-panion of Honour.
