BITTEN BY SNAKE.

AGED MAN CHOPS FINGER OFF.

GUNDAGAI, Monday,

John Peroivalv an ?. ei mon, was lifting a sheet of lion off a waterhole when a snake fastened on to his little finger. He could not shake it off until his dog pulled It away. Per-cival walked half a mile to his camp at Go-barralong and chopped off the finger. Then he walked a milo to Crow's shearing shed, and was put In a car and taken towards Gundagai A doctor met him half way and treated the wound. Be Is now in hospital.
