"GEOFFREY HAMLYN" TO BE

PRODUCED.

Encouraged by the success of the picturealready produced, Australian Film ProductioiiH, Ltd., is contemplating an expansión of its business. The company's producer, Mr.

Charles Chauvel, Is at present In Sydney ar-ranging for the exploitation and release of "Greenhide," tho company's second produc-

tion.

Mr. Chauvel says that 'Greenhide" is an ad-vance on the first production, "The Moth of Moonbi." It had been produced in the Dawson Valley, Queensland, and was an am-bitious attempt to portray the life of the west. The picture had met with great suc-cess in Quensland, and was due for early release In Sydney.

Mr. Chauvel says he is now considering the making of a film version of Henry Klngnloy's "Geoffrey Hamlyn," depicting on a large scale the life and work of Australia's early pioneers. It will he necessary to take the early scones in England, and he intends to go to England for that purpose.' At the same time he will place 'The Moth of Moonbi" and "Greenhide" on tho KngHsh market, and endeavour to link up his company with a British film-producing unit.
