GREEK ULTIMATUM.

LEAGUE OF NATIONS TO ACT.

LONDON, Oct. 22.

Tho Athens correspondent of the "Dally Express" Bays that Bulgaria has agrcod to accede to the demands made by Greece lu the ultimatum concerning satisfaction for the shooting of a Greok Bontry by Bulgarians on

the frontier near Bellos.

Tho demands (according to Renter) wero for an Indemnity of 2,000,000 French franca, an expression of regret, and the punish-ment of tho responsible persons.

The Bulgarian Government proposed the formation of a mixed commission of Greek and Bulgarian officers to investigate the in-cident on the spot, but this was declined by

the Greek Government.

Fighting is roportod owing to Bulgara re-sisting the passage of Grooli troops advancing to occupy an outpost.

It is reported at AthenB that tho Búlgaro havo received reinforcements, and that the Greok commnudcr Is making an encircling 'movement around Potrltsi "with a *>iow to

compelling the Bulgare to ovncuato Greek territory." The Bulgara are Btubbornly re-

sisting.

It Is semi-offlcinlly stated that Bulgarin has protested to the Secretariat of tho League of Nations requesting an immodlato summoulng of the League Council to luvcstiguto the Graeco-Bulgar dispute.

A later message says that the Council of the League of Nations will meet at Geneva on Monday to deal with the Greco-Bulgarian dispute. Greeks and Bulgarians have been In-vited to attend, and bave meanwhile been asked to abstain from further hostilities.
