y PROGRESS ASSOCIATION FORMED. I

TWEED' HEADS, Friday

A meeting was held here to consider the advisability of forming a progress a goesthen, to watch over the united interests of the two border towns (Tweed Heads and Coolagate. "It was decided to form an association and co-operate with the Tweed Shire and Coolangatta Town Council. The following officers were elected:-President Mr J Walker; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. Sweet' man. and M. 1 new; secretary, Mr. J. Carlintreasurer, Mr. It.. Mason. It guns decided. to ask the councils to use their endeavours towards securing the discontinuance of the use of unsuitable names, like Point Danger Sharks Bay, and substitute therefor rain' mount Bay and Rainbow Bay, the name in which it was first called by Admiral flour
