TEMPE TO EAST HILLS.

RAILWAY RECOMMENDED.

The Public Works Committee approved of the construction of a railway from Tempe to East Hills.

Expert evidence given before the com-mittee showed that the estimated cost was £493,049, exclusive of land resumptions. The length of line is 10 miles 65 chains.
