WEDDINGS.

DIGGES LA TOUCHE-EDOLS.

The marriage was celebrated last night at St. John's Church, Darlinghurst, of Leila Joan, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Edols, of Cairo, Macleay-Btreot (late of Burrawang, Forbes), to Dr. Francis Dlgges La Touche, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Digges La Touche, of Epping. Rev. Lucas officiated, assisted by Rev. Maughan Thomas. The bride, who was given away by her father, wus gowned in ivory satin, worked with a pattern of tiger lillies in beaten gold and silver thread. The train from the waist was lined with dull gold lame, and finished with a gold and silver thread tassel. A veil of Limerick lace was worn over a plain tulle veil, caught at one side with a knot of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of white roses and orchids. Miss Dorothy Edols (cousin) and Miss Audrey Morphett (Adelaide), attended as bridesmaids, in ciel blue moire, made with touches of silver lace over blue shot lame. Hand-made roses finished the bodices, and skirts. The bridesmaids wore small tulle caps with blue and silver leaves, and carried silver baskets filled with plnlc flowers. Dr. John Maude acted as best man, and Mr. R. V. Wynyard Battye as groomsman. The reception was hold at the Royal Sydney Golf Club, where Mrs. Edols, wearing a gown of cyclamen crepe romaine, embroidered in cyclamen and small steel beads, received about 300 guests. The honeymoon will be spent in Melbourne. The bride travelled in a three-piece suit of castor shade velour cloth, with a collar of beaver fur, and a small hat en suite.

HOOPER-RICH.

The marriage was celebrated on April 14 of Lydia Tempest Rich, only daughter of Mr. Justice and Mrs. Rich, of Elizabeth Bay, to Ashby A. W. Hooper, elder son of Mr. A. F. Hooper, of Toorak, Melbourne. The Rev. A. H. Garnsey officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in silver cloth satin with a court train lined with silver net and trimmed with diamond buckles. The bridesmaid, Miss M. P. Rolln, wore maize beaded Georgette. Mr. Frank Richardson (Geelong) acted as best man. The reception was held at the Royal Sydney Golf Club, where Mrs. Rich received the guests. The bridetravelled in dark embroidered morocaln, and wore a toque to match.

WOOD-O'REILLY.

The marriage was celebrated at the Pymble Methodist Church on April 5 of Dr Olive Kely-nack O'Reilly, youngest daughter of the late Dr. W. W. J. and Mrs. O'Reilly, of Elouera, Pymble, to Rev. A. Harold Wood, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wood, of Hurlstone Park. The Revs. H. Arthur Meek, B.A. (cousin of the bride) and John Bathgate officiated. The bride was given away by her oldest brother, Mr. W. Cresswell O'Reilly. Miss Mona Wood and the Misses Gwen and Mollie O'Reilly attended the bride. The Rev. Gordon G. Wood acted as best man. The wedding breakfast was held at the home of the bride's mother. The future home of the Rev. A. H. and Mrs. Wood will be Tubou College, Nukua-lofa, Tonga.
