A cottesloe occurred yesterday morning in Darling I

harbour between the Macleay River Steamship Com parish steamer Kinchela and a lighter, which was

ratified with sugar. and was being towed by the

Colonial Sugar Tïefln.ntr Company's ship Jessie from a Pyrmont to Darling Harbour. "The mid-on occurred as the steamer was preceeding from the force of PutIn urn street to Careening Cove, JtfortS Sydney. The lighter was cut down to the water line by the steamer. but the Kinchela was not damaged.
