The Koraaga, the second of the three steam steel to aw ler's recently acquired by the New South Wales Government, passed Jervis Bay at 3 o'clock yesterday, and is expected to arrive here early this morning The third trawler, the Gunnundaal, will probably follow

The Koraaga and Gunnundaal arc steam trawlers of the most up-to-date type, built by Smiths Dock Company, Limited, of Middles-boroiigh-on-Tccs England The dimensions of the vessel are as follow Length between perpendiculars, lHift, breadth, extreme, 22ft, depth, moulded, 12ft They were constructed under Lloyd's special survey and to receive the highest class, and in many places the vessels are much stronger than these requirements demand in order to meet the special nature of the work in which they will be employed The vessels are designed with a single deck with a long raised quarterdeck carried to the fore side of the trawl winch and also a raised top-gallant forecastle On the forecastle deck the windlass for Working the anchor- will be fitted, and an anchor of the stockless type will be housed in a long hawse pipe An iron breakwater is also fitted to dix off the sea when the vessels are being driven in hoax j weatherThe crew is comfortably housed under the forecastle deck the anti nee being through a lobby on the starboard side over which the forecastle deck is carried affording ample protection to the crow when entering or leaving the forecastle in li _ ax j weather
