STORM AT BARRABA.

BARRABA, Monday.

A terrific storm passed over the district a few miles

from town on Saturday evening, with most disastrous

results. Three inches of rain were recorded in about half on hour. The wind blow with cyclonic force, up-rooting huge trees, besides, blowing down sheds in many places. At Mr. J. J. Moylan's property a chimney as blown down, and portion of the falling bricks seriously Injured one of his children. At Tiabundie, Messrs. Manuel Bros.' place, the roof was blown right off the new shearing shed, and another

small shed was levelled to the ground. At Mr. Fred Brodbeck's two sheds where destroyed.

Connor's Creek came down in a wall of water 9ft high, and where it empties into the Manilla River hundreds of fish were killed.
