herd of 200 dairy Cows kind help as from North Gippsland, to be sold on account of Mr. AA'iu. Coolthan, of Bairnsdale.

The herd comprises (40 cows in milk, mostly second and third all; HE forward and backward springers, carrying record and thin) calf; 20 springing bet-for, 10 grade Jersey heifers,., 12 to 15 months, empty; 2 Jersey bulls, 1 milking shorthorn bull.

'His sole reason for the dispersal of this herd is owing to the continued drought in North Gippsland. The Coimibun family have been dairying for the past fifty years, and their herd, which is the pick of 000 is easily recognised as the premier live in the Barrsdale district. Returns from the local factory show- 8 to 10/ per head per cow per month more than any other herd in the Bairnsdale

district. The cattle are an exceptionally well-bred lot, home being pure Jersey and Jersey crosses, pure Ayrshire and Ayrshire crosses, with splendid lines and teats, and very deep milkers. The springer sure fill in good condition, and the

milkers In fresh condition.
