RIOTING AT SWANSEA.

WAGGON WORKERS STRIKE.

Rioting has occurred at Swansea over the strike of waggon workers. At mid-night a crowd invaded the works, smashing the contents of the building.

Women urged drunken men stripped to the waist to assault the caretakers.

The police used their batons on the crowd, who retaliated with stones.

Ten policemen were injured before order

was restored..
