KILLED IN ACTION.

ANDERSON.—Killed in action, at the Dardanelles,

Private James Anderson, 7th Australian Infantry, formerly of Charlton, Victoria, and son of John Anderson, Newtownmore, Inverness Shire, Scot-

land.

ENGELMANN.—Killed in action, at Dardanelles,

Lance corporal Walter Hector, second son of Allason Low Engelmann, and grandson of Francis Manallack, of St. Arnaud, aged 22 years and 11

months.

FARLEY.—About the 16th June, killed in action,

at the Dardanelles, John Henry (Jack), First Expeditionary Force (and late Victorian Railways),

dearly loved husband of Clare Farley , 48 Bowen street, Moonee Ponds, and father of Elaine, and Teddie, Maldon; brother of Mrs. Noble, Mornington; Helen, Harriet, Tilly, and Sophie, of Maldon; N. Birt, of South Africa.

Deeply mourned.

Henry, the dearly beloved husband of Theresa Attwater, and loving father of John, May, Mervyn, Doris, Jean and Sybil Attwater, aged 54 years; late of Eaglehawk.

BARCLAY.—On the 24th June, at Junee, N.S.W,

Clara, second daughter of Mrs. R. S Barclay, of Gurner street, St. Kilda.

FITZGIBBON.—On the 24th June, 1915, at his late

residence, 348 Station street, North Carlton, James Edward Fitzgibbon, father of E. J. Fitz-gibbon, grandfather of J. W. G. F. and M. Fitzgibbon, also M. L. M. and J. Kelly, late of Wodonga, aged 81. (Wodonga papers please copy.) Interred at Benalla on the 25th June.

HALL.—On the 23rd June, Annie Hall, of 68 Lin-

coln street, Richmond, eldest daughter of the late John and R. Hall (formerly of Kyabram), beloved

sister of H. Hall, Tatura; J. and W. Hall, North-cote; W. Hall, Warragul; Mrs. Wakefield, North-cote; and of the late J. B. Hall, Northcote, and Mrs. Burton, Mentone.

A devoted daughter and a self-sacrificing sister.

HALL.—On the 23rd June, Miss Hall, an esteemed

and devoted friend for 30 years of the late Mrs. A. Barry, 68 Lincoln street, Richmond.
