An election took place yesterday of a

member in the House of Commons for East Tyrone, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr. P. C. Doogan (N.), and re-sulted in the return of Mr. Kettle (N.) by z majority of 19. The voting was as fol-

At the general election, Mr. P. C. Doogan (N.) polled 3053 votes, and Mr. M. M'Caw (C.)
