He considered it a shame that so few local men were engaged for work on the line Many of the men who are unemployed are living upon green corn rosterday 11 families arrived from Captain's Flat expecting work, and the number is daily being augmented from all parts of the colony There are now over 100 men under canvas At the meeting one speaker suggested that a relief fund be started, but the townspeople contend that the Government should give the necessary
