ST. JAMES' CHURCH.

Yesterday being St James' Day, the dedication festival in connection with St James' Church, King-street, was commenced. The building was decorated with shrubs and flowers by ladies. The Rev. F. Bevan, M.A., vicar of Bega, preached at the morning and evening services. At 9 a.m. choral communion was celebrated, the setting being to Marbecks's music

To-night the parish tea and entertainment will be held in the parish hall. The festival will be cele-brated on each of the following six days.
