TO THE EDITOR OF THE BRISBANE COURIER.

Sir,-- The Brisbane and Rangers Football Clubs have adopted the Rugby Union rules, while the New Petrie-terrace Club intend to go by the London Association rules. Now in matches between the clubs, each one practising under his own rules, this well cause great confusion. Would it not be better for the clubs to meet and fix on some rules to be followed by all Bris-

bane clubs? All the clubs in Sydney have adopted the Rugby Union.

I wonder that the secretary of the Brisbane F.B.C. has not called a meeting of his club, for we may safely conclude that the Rowing Club's Regatta on the 20th will mark the end of the

cricket season

-Yours, &c, OVAL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
