MARINE BOARD. -«

THE ADELAIDE COLONIST COLLISION.

The Marine Board met yesterday and declared their decision in the case of the Adelaide Colonist collision, which occurred on March 1. The Board found that the collision was caused by the wrongful act or default of William Wilson, master of the Colonist, in committing a breach of article 22 of the sailing regulations, by cutting his head across the steamer's bow. Under the circumstances they considered that a reprimand would meet the etna, and William Wilson was, therefore, reprimanded and cautioned to be more careful in future. From this dionion Captains Jenkins and M'Lean dissented, as their signatures were not attached to the report.
