LACROSSE.

A meeting of gentlemen favourable to the introduction of the Canadian game lacrosse into Sydney was held last evening at Ramford's Cambridge Club Hotel, Mr. G. Miller in the chair. Notwithstanding the wet weather, there was a fair attendance, and it was resolved to form a club, to be called the Sydney Lacrosse Club. The meeting was then adjourned until Tuesday next, at the same time and place.
