THE ELECTIONS IN VICTORIA.

MELBOURNE, FRIDAY.

TO-DAY the poll was taken in all the electorates of the colony for representatives in the Legislative Assembly. The elections were of all -absorbing interest. They passed off quietly. There are about thirty-five new members. The Minister for Lands and Mines, is amongst the rejected.
